What You'll Be Doing
As a Business Development Manager at Land Sterling, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our Valuations and Advisory services. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and positioning Land Sterling as a trusted provider of valuation and property consultancy services. This role requires a proactive, commercially driven individual with a strong understanding of the real estate market and valuation landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, generate, and follow up on leads with a particular focus on valuation and advisory opportunities across residential, commercial, and development assets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of valuation instructions through strategic outreach, networking, and market engagement.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key clients including developers, banks, investors, and corporate clients.
  • Leverage existing relationships within the real estate developer space to generate new business opportunities.
  • Understand client requirements and position Land Sterling’s valuation and consultancy services accordingly.
  • Work closely with the Valuations team and Department Leads to support business generation and ensure seamless delivery of instructions.
  • Follow up on internal leads and convert them into confirmed valuation and advisory assignments.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and pitches alongside technical teams to support the conversion of opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, fee quotes, and presentations tailored to valuation services.
  • Provide regular market feedback, including insights on pricing trends, demand, and competitor activity to support business strategy.
  • Track pipeline activity and provide weekly reports to the Managing Director on leads, meetings, and conversion rates.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, with a focus on valuation revenue generation.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and promote Land Sterling’s valuation expertise.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development within real estate, with a strong focus on valuations and advisory services.
  • Proven experience working with or alongside real estate developers, with strong industry knowledge and network.
  • Solid valuation experience and understanding of valuation methodologies and market drivers.
  • Strong corporate and business development background, with the ability to engage and win institutional and high-level clients.
  • Strong understanding of the Dubai and UAE real estate market.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and independently manage a sales pipeline. High level of commercial awareness and business judgment
