WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Lead and oversee all QA/QC inspection and quality assurance activities in line with the approved project scope
  • Implement and monitor project-specific QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and reporting requirements
  • Review and validate inspection reports, snag lists, WIRs, MIRs, and handover documentation prior to submission to the Client
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Establish, implement, and monitor project-specific QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and reporting formats
  • Review and verify Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with approved specifications
  • Ensure no works proceed on site without approved WIRs, MIRs, and relevant drawings.
  • Conduct inspections of completed works and major finishing elements in line with approved inspection plans
  • Identify quality risks, non-conformities, and potential workmanship issues and report them to the project team
  • Coordinate snagging and de-snagging inspections and ensure timely closure of observations
  • Review inspection reports, snag lists, and quality documentation prior to submission to the Client
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and yearly QA/QC reports summarizing inspections, quality findings, non-conformities, and overall quality performance
  • Liaise with the Client and Consultant as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters
  • Attend project review meetings, site coordination meetings, and handover meetings as required
  • Provide technical guidance and quality oversight to QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors
  • Support project close-out activities and handover documentation related to QA/QC
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and quality documentation, including WIRs and MIRs
  • Minimum 8 - 14 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Conversant with international quality standards such as ISO 9001
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Reporting and presentation skills

  • Internal/lead auditor certification
