WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing, and valuing Property, Plant, Machinery, and Equipment assets for a diverse client base. The role involves conducting site inspections, collecting and analyzing asset data, applying recognized valuation methodologies, and preparing high-quality valuation reports in line with professional standards. You will work closely with clients and end users while managing your workload to meet agreed deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect plant, machinery, and equipment to determine their value on behalf of clients
- Collect, verify, and analyze asset and market data
- Carry out research to support and justify valuation conclusions
- Prepare clear, accurate, and compliant valuation reports
- Ensure all valuations comply with RICS Red Book and relevant valuation standards
- Liaise with clients and end users during inspections and reporting stages
- Manage multiple instructions and ensure deadlines are met
- Support the development and maintenance of client relationships
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for valuation assignments
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field with a practical understanding of valuation principles
- Experience in plant and machinery valuation or a closely related property or asset valuation role
- RICS membership or APC candidacy preferred, with commitment to professional development
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently while managing multiple instructions
- Good client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear valuation reports
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards
